I, Dr. Mohammad HosseinSoumi, departed the country on 11/03/2015 for attending the 24^th conference of APASL 2015 held in Istanbul. I attended the conference as the chairman of the session on Hepatitis B. Furthermore, 5 different posters with the affiliation of the Liver and Gastrointestinal Disease Research Center were presented by the students. Almost 4000 people attended this conference including the prominent lecturers from scientific committees from the U.S., Europe and Asia. High quality lectures on the novel treatments for HCC, HBV and HCV were presented. I also visited a hospital and a company producinghospital construction materials. In the meantime, I had meetings with experts in the field of hepatic diseases in order to found joint projects. On 16/03/2015 I returned to Tabriz.
